Bleached Superwhite Ash

Like maple, ash is prized for its lighter sapwood which can be very wide. After bleaching ash becomes almost completely white in color. Its grain has a medium to coarse texture similar to oak. The grain is defined by its lightly two toned cathedrals, though sometimes moderate curl or other figure can be present. White ash is most famous as the material used for making baseball bats.
